Skeletool's outside-accessible blade means, just like a pocket knife, it can be deployed without delay with one hand. Two models of the tool, Leatherman Skeletool and Leatherman Skeletool CX began being distributed worldwide in January 2008. The Skeletool model is stainless steel with a 420HC blade and retails for £69.95. Skeletool CX is also stainless steel but features DLC Tungsten coating for scratch resistance plus a 154CM straight blade that is incredibly simple to sharpen. MSRP for the CX model is £89.95. Both versions are supplied with the world famous Leatherman 25 year warranty.
